This exhibit is a celebration of the brave women (suffragettes) who fought for the passage of the 19th amendment. SheVotes 100 is a movement to turn out 100% voter registration of American women nationwide in the 2020 election.
Approach
The concept behind this poster shows the restriction of the women’s vote as a metaphor in the restrictive garments, women were forced/expected to wear at that time. The names of the suffragettes are depicted in the folds of the skirt.
Results
The sale of the posters for this exhibit went to voting awareness and turnout for the US 2020 presidential election.
