ASSIGNMENT: Help UNICEF raise awareness of the dangers faced by 2.5 billion people around the world without access to safe, clean toilets, and drive advocacy for their Toilets for All movement.
APPROACH: To dramatize the consequences resulting from a lack of safe, clean toilets, we created a series of simple, emotive graphic posters. Each poster spoke to a specific danger and drove to a game for desktop and mobile. The posters marked a departure from UNICEF's traditional visual style.
RESULTS: In one day, the posters helped drive over 51,000 people to our website to play the game. They were also shared across social media by the Gates Foundation, UNICEF offices across the globe, and several celebrities. The client was passionate about the posters, as they helped break through clutter in a crowded space.
