Create a poster announcing a show of student interactive design and animation.
Each year, the Interact poster creates a poster announcing this annual event. In most cases the design brief involves working with the current year of the event, which is this case was the number 12. After many iterations involving the number 12, it dawned on us that the infamous spinning wheel of death has, in fact, 12 colors and hence the following design solution seemed like a natural extension of that insight.
This poster was distributed around the university campus and also used online (in social media campaigns) and in various print collateral material. Students and faculty alike responded immediately to the wheel imagery, and to the happy coincidence that the wheel contained 12 colors. It spoke to the many hours of work needed to design and program their various entries.
