Poster for an exhibition on women pop artists from the pop art era 1961-1973, in Kunsthalle Kiel in Germany.
Approach
A loud, colorful and fun design that referenced the bold and often colorful works of the artists of the exhibition. The poster design included the painting "Ice cream" by Belgian pop artist Evelyne Axell, making the P of POP licking on the icecream too.
Results
The playful design was very well received by the clients and it added much color to a grey autumn in the city of Kiel.
