Our assignment was to fully conceptualize and brand a pop-up restaurant located at a given landmark in Philadelphia. I was assigned the Philadelphia Zoo.
Approach
My approach to the assignment was to utilize what was already present, both within the zoo, and in history. Once I began to focus in on the swan boat concept, it seemed to fall into place. The swan boats connected me to Robert Paget, who connected again with Richard Wagner, the Opera itself, and willy Pogany’s style.
Results
I designed a unique pop-up restaurant that I know, through my research, could truly fufill a demand in the city of Philadelphia. It fills the need for unique experiences that people always seem to be in search of, while also educating about a beautiful part of our history
