The goal of this project was to create an in-office signage system that communicated a distributed-first way of working. This meant breaking old habits and work styles of a desk for every person and embracing new office spaces that were dedicated to different types of work.

The team focused on making materials that demonstrated clear and easy expectations for how to navigate offices in visually appealing, digestible, and intentional ways. A clear framework was developed around behavioral expectations in a tone that was supportive, fun, exciting, and understanding.

Ultimately, the team created a clear and easy-to-navigate signage and copy system that was used to define different ways of working and spaces dedicated to them; areas to focus, collaborate, be social, etc.

The client was thrilled with the results. In total, the team delivered nearly 50 assets in the form of digital banners, decals, sandwich boards, hanging ceiling and wall posters, and trifold desktop signage. These bold signs and copy brought clear understanding of how to use the physical workplace in a new kind of office while still supporting the employee to work their way and find what works best for them.
