An experimental research poster that conceptually represents the mind’s ability to utilize complex thought and inductive reasoning to distinguish the objective from that which is sensory.
Objective Reality makes use of curvilinear forms, postmodern typography and the remains of calcified organic matter. The interconnected elements transition from physical objects, to graphic representation, to abstracted metaphor. The piece combines grayscale photography with graphic illustration and hand-inked / digital typography.
The resulting piece belongs to a series of research intensive visual explorations that examine the intersection of research, design and typography. This work investigates the understanding of thought development, perceived reality and layered complexity.
