This is the poster for the Octavian Radu Topai Photography Prize. The national architecture photography competition was established in 2015 as a yearly event to honor the name and professional excellence of the late photographer/architect Octavian Radu Topai.

As 2015 was the startup year for the Octavian Radu Topai Prize the decision of including mr. Topai's profile for the poster came fairly natural. The graphic language used throughout the poster translates as subtly as possible the importance of balance between all the necessary skills/features required by anyone who wants to venture in the field of professional photography (like composition, crop, contrast, color, fringing, perception, story, message etc...). The poster's self imposed goal was to approach it as close as possible to mr. Topai's photography process.

The outcome is a poster catching the very soul of a man and his practice.
