The video illustrates how Dean Street Express, which is affiliated with the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, now delivers 600 tests a day on average and provides results earlier with their on-site GeneXpert Infinity system. The entire system is self sampled and automated for gonorrhea and chlamydia testing. Patients take a short survey and enter their details on a private touch screen. They then go into a booth, and with the help of a simple instructional video, complete the test themselves and place their samples into the GeneXpert Infinity system. The first results, for chlamydia and gonorrhea, are delivered within two hours and results for other tests are sent within six hours.
