Inspired by the music, the project took the band members of Hyro the Hero and envisioned them as Super Heroes.

There was only 45 minutes between sound check and when the band went on stage to capture the photography. As such, backgrounds and creatures are achieved through compositing. All elements were unique and captured or created for this project. The approach was to take a Graphic Novel feel and apply it to photography to give it a cross between reality and pulp fiction.

The project achieved a surreal effect that is printed at 40" x 27" wide aspect to give the images an epic feel while also making them feel like a frame out of a Graphic Novel.
