This illustration created based on the nightmares that children's have. They often have dream about teeth falling out, being left alone scary animals and monsters. I connected those elements to create an illustration that will attract kids.
Approach
I sketched various shapes based on the kid's nightmares. Then, I made those shapes into puzzle. I contrasted dark purple background with vibrant colors on the foreground shapes.
Results
The way that all the shapes are connected to each other is interesting. And the overall shape flow throughout composition and it drags viewer's eyes to the area where the girl's face and mouth with teeth falling out are. Value of the piece make the it stand out.
