The Doseum™, a local children's museum, needed an identity for its first large original exhibition: Dream Tomorrow Today. The exhibit challenged and encouraged visitors to think about and take hold of their futures in an increasingly tech-driven world.
The exhibit focused on how young patrons would eventually shape the city of the future with the help of advances in science and technology. The passage of time is represented by the silhouette of an hourglass whose sands are replaced by the exhibit's main themes. A child's hand is shown reaching towards the city of the future which is in turn ascending to meet it. The interior shapes are stylized to imply circuitry and reinforce the concept that the future is connected to the present.
The exhibit opened to much fanfare with the logo recreated in real space from hundreds of repurposed bits and bobs above the entrance, welcoming visitors to a bright future created by their own hands. The exhibit featured hands-on activities and bright colors throughout. The client was thrilled with the final result and positive reception.
