This project aimed to create a proposed logo redesign for the Portland Outdoors store, a timeless western store in the heart of Portland, OR.
Approach
The process started with the goal of genuinely embodying the store's deep history and western spirit to make the trademark feel as timeless as the store. The design needed to reflect not only the western roots but also needed to take on a new look that felt equally timeless and understandable.
Results
The project successfully captured the store's western spirit through iconography and typographic choices while staying true to the times by being legible and clearly communicating the brand’s voice.
