We were given the opportunity to create for the University of Ljubljana as part of our coursework. The task was to produce a short video showcasing all of the various Universities and its people, wishing them a happy new year.

I had built a storyboard that included stopmotion with flowers, and as I was working on it, I began to wonder about another scene and how it might connect the narrative. I edited the video, which was a combination of my ideas and the song I created. However, upon looking at the finished product, it appeared to be attempting to be something it was not. I showed the video to my father, and we discussed how powerful this moment is on its own, and how it allows the story to be portrayed even better.
We had spent a lot of time working on a storyboard and I was worried that my teacher would disapprove of the changes I had made. I was also concerned about how my work might get perceived as a lazy result. However, I chose this course of action because I really believed in it. I was aware of the amount of effort I had to expend to get to this point.

"Vsak na svoji poti, a vsi povezani" translates to "Each on their own way, but all connected".

I accidentally entered the classroom as my teachers were viewing the films we had created, and I witnessed his sincere response to my video. The response was very enthusiastic, and my professor suggested that I submit my movie here. Even during the process, he encouraged my approach and was very excited I created my own song. The work has also been chosen and sent, amongst few others to the University of Ljubljana. The video they will include in their upcoming New Year's letter is still yet to be determined.
