GTE Financial wanted us to create a quirky, impactful TV spot on a limited budget that would promote how you can get one of the best rates in Tampa Bay with GTE Financial’s new Go To Visa® Card.
This was one of three spots in a campaign in which we emphasized how life can be stressful, yet banking doesn’t have to be if you go with GTE Financial. In this particular spot, our main character Lucas is having one heck of a time opening a jar of strawberry jam. We hoped this spot would get people’s attention, while showing GTE’s warm, fun personality and how they can make things easy, even when life isn’t.
GTE Financial liked this spot, because it was kind of quirky and unique – just like them. The commercial also helped to differentiate them and their low interest rate Go To Visa® Card from the competition. They’ve also heard positive comments about the comedic commercial via social media, as people shared similar frustrating experiences with some stubborn lids. Most importantly, this spot has helped to make people more aware of GTE Financial and their great products and services.
