GTE Financial wanted us to create a 15-second television spot that would promote their simple, fast, easy, wide-ranging coverage for home loans.
We took GTE Financial’s far-reaching coverage to an extreme in order to really stand out and truly show that GTE Financial will “cover” just about anyone for a home loan -- even those with a clothing optional lifestyle. This concept supported GTE’s own theme line, “We’re Different Too,” showing that they are not a typical stodgy bank, but a more fun, people-driven credit union.
Since the commercial was only 15 seconds long, we felt we had to come up with something that would cut through the clutter and be very memorable. The spot has been well-received and definitely made quite an impression within the typically conservative financial industry.
