The Florida Aquarium wanted to promote their extended hours for the 4th of July through various media, including this poster. But they wanted to do so in a very unique and patriotic way.
Our solution was to create a very artistic “aquarium style” flag complete with illustrated starfish that made up the stars and illustrated octopus tentacles that formed the stripes. We thought the extended octopus tentacles even helped reinforce the headline, which played up the Aquarium’s “extended” hours and “deep” patriotism.
The Florida Aquarium marketing team liked the image so much that they used it in all media to promote the event, including print, OOH and digital ads. With a striking image and one short sentence, we proved that it’s not always how much you say, but what you say that really matters.
