Update the identity of a family owned Real Estate Development Company. The founder had passed and the current leadership (his son, daughter and management team, with input from the widow) wanted a fresh, contemporary image for the company.
The new identity would be primarily used on the client’s letterhead package and migrate into their digital communications.
1. Mental yoga: to help the team see what other approaches could work, we first showed them images of contemporary identities and letterhead packages.
2. Simplicity, Color and Legacy: we presented several Concepts; the one that resonated with the client used a simple, clean layout and business cards with multiple colors on the back. Colors were chosen to work with dark blue, a legacy color from the original identity. The new logo refers back to the original logo with a different shape and orientation.
Our immediate clients were pleased, so was their Mom. Step forward into a new future for the company without abandoning the past.
