I wanted to capture the essence of what the album is about. I used my own photography to depict the love affair a couple was having in Younge's Something about April series of albums. This album is about the emotional turmoil an interracial couple is having after being told by their peers that they can't have relations. Based in the '60s and '70s in the United States. The couple longs for each other even during their attempts at having other relationships. This forced cheating they undertake in hope to ease their pain only draws them closer to each other.
