Each of the three posters are offset printed in CMYK along with two pantone spot colours. The posters are in a booklet form that eventually fold out into the 98 x 67 cm posters.
The first poster of the series titled "Everything is Going to be Okay" visualises a cloaked figure that assures viewers that everything is going to be okay. The space around the figure on the opposite side wonders howwwwww?
The second poster titled "Sadu Scraps" is made up of scraps of patterns that are based on carpets from the Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum in Doha, Qatar. Composed of many digital bits of a time gone by, the design is a gesture to the past that embraces uncertainty about the future of traditional arts, cultures, and globalisation.
The final poster titled "Ha Ha Ha" consists of laughing translations that were taken from vintage Mickey Mouse comics that are common in the Gulf. They also make use of the traditional flower motif that originated on mattress covers. This pattern is now in common use for a variety of domestic products in the Gulf. These references combine to produce a positive, light-hearted visual language.
