Fluffy mounds of freshly fallen powder. Softly illuminated in the early morning fog. Unmarked by man or beast.
Technical skill—perfect exposure, sharp focus, stopped motion, grain less enlargement, and complete tonal range—is the goal of many photographers. But sometimes it is nice to discard these attributes for artistic effect. These images have almost no tonal range to emphasize the soft curves of the subject. It is interesting to see how the tiny tonal range renders a slight mystery to the subject.
