I was looking for something we all had in common, no matter who or what we are. Something that concerns us all, therefore I focused on basic human needs. I am deeply convinced that everyone would offer toilet paper to someone else if someone asked for it. I find it hard to imagine to hear a selfish - "no". Last year's situation, when paper ran out in stores as quickly as yeast, sharing a roll in this way gets a new value - as proof of solidarity. The use of a familiar motif from art history is part of a multi-layered perception of the poster. The fresco may be understood differently by everyone, it can be associated with the origin, the humanity. Maybe the composition just means some homeliness to us, which helps in accepting the poster.
