TENKODO, the company that commissioned me to create the logo, has as its mission to transform the time people spend worrying and anxious into time that is positive.
The company's mission is to contribute to society through the development of products that provide the same attention to detail as Japanese hospitality, and to become a company that achieves world-class results.
The project's goal was to create a symbol mark that would be seen by all as a symbol of Japan, based on the concept of the importance of being from Japan.
TENKODO has the thought and meaning of "a company that will be able to act in a way that shimmers in the heavens”.
This led us to the idea of what would be recognized by people around the world and "the best in Japan" to create this product.
Against this context, I designed the kanji character for "heaven," the first letter of the company name, in the motif of the silhouette of the world-class Mt. Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan.
Since the company's establishment, TENKODO has developed many unique products through crowdfunding and continues to release them to the world one after another, all with high achievement rates.
The symbol is now seen by many users and has become a very valuable branding keystone for the company.
