My cover redesign does away with the 1980's sci-fi movie trope clichés and calls back to a more ornate, timeless approach. The intent is to give the reader a sense that they are exploring a written historical narrative of their red-planet past, creating a more personal and immersive first impression. This contrasts and accentuates the futuristic landscape and content; the reader will soon find pages into their reading. Each successive book in the series both plays upon the prior design direction while evolving alongside the narrative storyline.
