My goal was to create a brand for the Capitol Studios 65 Year Anniversary campaign to celebrate the studio’s history in a retro, yet contemporary way.
Approach
Established in 1956, Capitol Studios has hosted some of the world’s most celebrated artists of all time, including Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, and Dean Martin. In order to reflect this rich history, I used historic photography, colors, and a custom logotype.
Results
This branding approach was reminiscent of the past, but reimagined in a more versatile, contemporary, and lively way.
