The goal of this project was to combine a letterform and an object together to represent the sport of fishing. This mark is for a brand named Grander, that produces high-quality fishing gear.
Approach
The process for this project began with looking at different letterforms and realizing the interior negative space of the “G” almost resembles a fishing hook. The solution then became to make that interior space into an actual fishing hook.
Results
This project is successful because it utilizes the shape of a letterform in a simple and unexpected way.
