Maker’s Mark was co-founded by a woman who was not only educated as a chemist, and was the valedictorian of her college graduating class, but also who came up with the name of our whisky, and designed our package right down to the hand-dipped red wax on every bottle. She did the hard work. All we had to do was let people know about it. We created a poster individual markets could download and customize for their local events.
Lots and lots of conversations about Margie Samuels and her role in the creation of Maker’s Mark at our various events, as well as major movement on our social feeds as people discovered that our story is even more authentic and full of character than they knew.
