American Red Cross of Greater St. Louis wanted to celebrate their centennial anniversary with a yearlong integrated campaign to raise the profile of the organization and inspire the community to get involved.
Approach
A web-based video called “One Thing” centered on how American Red Cross of Greater St. Louis plays a role in the emotional recovery of those affected by disaster. The video depicted all the things the Red Cross can’t help with in a disaster to highlight the one thing they have provided to anyone at any time or anyplace for 100 years: compassion.
Results
Following the video’s release, a November 4th gala raised $89,540 for American Red Cross of Greater St. Louis, bringing the yearly total to nearly $900,000.
