As leaders in innovation, Bechtel wanted to communicate the company’s commitment to transformative solutions not only in engineering, procurement, and construction, but also through protecting the environment, conserving natural resources, supporting local communities, and improving economies. To express this direction, Nesnadny + Schwartz proposed the dual theme of “Breaking New Ground” and “Ground Breaking” to communicate the idea of building and the more figurative notion of visionary thinking. Upon landing, visitors can choose via a dual screen homepage, whether to experience the Annual or Sustainability Report. Clean, well-structured responsive design, intuitive user interface combined with impactful project photography supported the message.
