Our goal was to create key art for Empire that addressed the complicated relationship of the two main characters, Cookie and Lucious.
Approach
Cookie and Lucious’ relationship has never been easy or straightforward. The things that divide them – money, power, lies – are also the things that unite them. The snake, coiled around their bodies, represents the drama and wealth that envelopes them.
Results
We succeeded in creating a piece that is visually striking while speaking to the deep and complex connection between two iconic characters.
