Let’s face it, the legend behind the bobblehead goes so deep it warranted it own hall of fame and museum. And what better place to open this national pantheon to the bobbly noggin than Milwaukee, Wisconsin? This campaign designed to build awareness around a potential facility with thousands of bobbleheads on view highlights the historic nature of the great bobble. The fact is you likely haven’t truly made it until you get your own bobblehead. And the bobble transcends sports into celebrities, mascots, historical figures and cartoon characters. It struck us that not only are they historical figurines, but when placed together the bobbleheads themselves had a type of a relationship with a story behind it. History literally came alive when we put Dennis Rodman and Kim Jong Un together. What other stories can we create? Marilyn Monroe is a great bobblehead – but her bobblehead has a story when you pair her with Joe Dimaggio and JFK. An idea was born. History -- and a museum and hall of fame came alive.
Since the inception of the campaign, the museum, which is yet to have an actual brick and mortar presence, has gotten closer to realizing that reality. Online awareness has skyrocketed and the bobblehead business is booming.
