Utilizing visual language/type system to produce a narrative series of specific subject matter.
The deliverables are 10 posters as a series and 1 wall environmental typography piece.

The topic was decided to be Quentin Tarantino's mythology of cinematic narrative. So the basic principle is non-linear thinking. As a film maker, Tarantino always tries to challenge the audience with “expectation”, in other words, “Anti-consequences”. To achieve that idea, the poster using illustration and typography to morph into each other back and fourth, to show the craziness opinion on consequences.

As a result, Ukiyo-e style and some of the icons in his movie were introduced in the poster series. With all the elements working, production I chose screen printing, to enhance the feeling of roughness and exploding colors. Sleazy Comic Catalog is a mirroring to his movie, Pulp Fiction. As introducing type and drawing as the media, the name shifted by its nature.
