I designed this poster at a point when the state of Texas, where I live, was setting daily records for new COVID-19 infection rates. I just did not understand the mentality of people that feel so put upon to socially distance or wear a mask. Is it THAT much of an inconvenience? Are you OK with all these deaths? Do you have any empathy for parents going crazy with their immunocompromised family members or children under 12 at home who cannot be vaccinated? Do you have empathy for burnt out healthcare workers who see death after preventable death everyday? I believe those that claim a love of freedom as their reason for not masking up are merely selfish and irresponsible.
