The assignment was to design a creative and unique pictorial logo for a company by combining their name and their product. Using positive and negative space, repeating shapes and an original mark.

I started working on this logo experimenting with a lot of variations. My biggest struggle was getting an interesting whale shape, displaying the three quarter view of both the bathtub and the beast. Colors were drawn from real images of whales, and the type was set, with the company descriptor resting centered between the 'l's.

The logo successfully combines both a bathtub and a whale, with a reaffirming color palette.
