I knew I wanted to capture the incredible breaks that seem to go on forever along the Oregon coast, but it wasn't until we got the paddle boarder in the water for scale that the image came alive.

A lot of scouting went into this. Safety was a major issue both in the water and access to the water. Some of these locations are at the bottom of steep cliffs and unfriendly terrain. This remote beach offered fairly easy access and a break that was deemed "safe".

Flying a drone over the ocean in strong winds is always an interesting challenge...
