Saracina is situated on a 250-acre ranch just outside the town of Hopland, California. The ranch is home to vineyards, bee hives, olive trees, three lakes, the winery and caves. Soon after acquiring the property, Taub Family Selections gave Gatto Design the opportunity to redesign the wine's packaging.

This label evolution was designed to reflect the balance between the site’s rugged terrain and the winery’s elegant and modern architecture.The varied textures of the artwork harmonious pairing with the san serif type in a grid layout mimics the built components' relationship to the land at the winery.

The resulting label communicates quality and a true sense of place providing the customer a tactile interpretation of visiting the property.
