Robert Kamen is a screenwriter and upon selling his first screenplay he went ahead and bought a vineyard in Sonoma, CA. This spontaneity and his passion to entertain and bring people together made me want to rebrand their brand into something recognizable and unique.
Approach
I wanted to bring a monospaced typeface to play on screenplays and the typography used in those. I accomplished this by using Pitch Sans and Pitch as primary typefaces. I wanted to also pay homage to the editing process and hand drew lines and scribbles to add texture and pattern.
Results
A sophisticated brand that can be versatile and used within Kamen's vineyard as well as his tasting room in downtown Sonoma.
