Ten Kettles, a young startup focused on music and learning apps, wanted a professional logo and identity set before launching their first major project. Many other apps in the arena focused on musical metaphors or learning metaphors. With a growing portfolio of software, reinforcing the distinctive name was a better option than focusing on the output of the company.
The logo really gravitated around the name and the visual opportunities found in the '1' and '0' of 10, to make the kettle shape. An unmissable opportunity in logo design -- while still picking up core values such as accessibility, confidence, and a bit of quirk.
Ten Kettles has launched one application to great reviews, and is currently working through a larger, second application for release in mid-2015, moving forward with confidence and pride.
