Century of Design_Dutch Design_Postage Stamp Design
Assignment
In this project, the goal is to take researched content — the history of graphic design — Dutch Design, hailing the heroes, and pick through the best parts, and create a postage stamp series, including a stamp sheet, a cancellation seal, an envelope, an information card, and three brochures.
Approach
Through the research on Dutch design, I decided to combine the color that regions in the works of the three designers Piet Zwart, Wim Crouwel, and Gert Dumbar combine them with concise but powerful geometric figures to express my understanding of Dutch design.
Results
The work transformed my understanding of Dutch Design into a designed project. All the works unity together that becomes a design system, which has a great consistency and rhythm.
