These topics are essential nowadays because people understand the way we live impacts the environment around us. The main focus is on changing human behaviour and consumerization habits, as well as sharing information about new technologies and discoveries related to sustainability.
The name of this magazine is Yearn, which means “to want something a lot.” In essence, the magazine aims to teach people how to live sustainably and be conscious consumers who understand the impact of our throw-away society on the environment. The design of Yearn intends to appeal to its target audience of 25–35 year-olds who want to live ethically by supporting local businesses. Yearn magazine was designed in a contemporary style with a clean and minimalistic approach.
By highlighting subjects such as craft making, conscious travelling, consumerization and innovations, this made the magazine successful. This magazine helps readers to make the decision beneficial to both the environment and themselves.
