To improve water quality by letting Southern California Residents know the dangers that the careless disposal of household waste causes to water quality.
Approach
To very literally demonstrate the “toxic cocktail” that we create with common household waste. In this series of posters that appeared around Southern California, we portrayed different drink recipes – “Petroleum Punch” “The Toxitini ” all made from common household waste.
Results
News outlets, consumer groups and residents of Orange County, California have all been activated, with web traffic to ocwatersheds.com increasing by many multiples over previous year.
