For this brand I wanted to explore the line between “good” design and “bad” design. There is a beautiful meeting place between these two that creates something really wonderful. I wanted someone to look at the designs and feel like something was just a little bit off, similar to the works of art being showcased. To do this I manipulated type in ways that are “off limits” to designers. This included stretching type, adjusting kerning, and breaking the grid in all too many places.
