Each student selects a film of his/her choice to create a unique and appropriate title sequence.This assignment focuses on composition, typographic hierarchy, pacing and time and sequence of type and image.
Approach
The opening scene of the film Whiplash introduces the main character practicing drums in a small room. For this project I utilized simple shapes to create a path to this space for the viewer.
Results
My solution sets the scene for the film while introducing the director and cast.
