Since Todd Gloria's logo was the Star representing his Democratic party, his colors, and pointing up and moving forward, we decided to develop a poster that included the words RESTART and then highlight the word STAR. RESTART was for San Diego as the previous mayor left San Diego In very bad shape. The STAR as to be related to the logo, but at the same time, our candidate was a Star. Kind of a Rock Star for its public if you ask me.
Diversity was one of the biggest points here, as he is the first openly gay official running for Mayor in San Diego history.
