_______About My Approach:
My promotional theater photography is based in portraiture. I've been a performer most of my life-- so as a photographer I like to create unexpected moments through play and experimentation.
_______About the "Everest" shoot:
I wanted to create an image that suggested a white out and some kind of physical struggle.
I photographed Aaron as close as possible with a wide angle lens-- showing him in a state of free-fall with a white background-- so that when printed larger than life size-- the ads on train platforms and kiosks would easily steal eyes away from the magical glow of everyone's phone.
