A redesign of the Australian architecture magazine: Houses.
For the covers, rather than showing up-close photographs of homes or interiors, I focused on the shapes that homes create from afar. This captures architecture as sculpture art. This kind of view is reminiscent of a view for outsiders looking in before venturing into the detail of each unique dwelling, similar how they will explore this magazine. This view also encompasses the surrounding environment.
Often, we miss how the house interacts with the structures around it. With this view, we see where the architect started and what inspired them. I wanted to carry this holistic view through the magazine.
