The Villa Zebra museum is about making up stories, imagination and curiosity. The poster also stimulates those goals of the museum. Look twice and wonder what kind of animals you see among the waves. Take a even closer look and read the poem 'sea monsters' by one of the artists:
“the flood took me to the open sea
the waves got higher and higher and I slowly submerged
I held my breath”
The illustration is made up of clippings that are left behind by children in the craft room of the museum.
I see it as a challenge to work on a design for children that is attractive but not childish. It is important to take children serious.
