Stationery development for “KAI”, a facility for people with intellectual disabilities. Our assignment was to design stationery that would be used as a tool to communicate to the society that people with intellectual disabilities have brilliant individualities and great talents with human dignities.
There are still social or local prejudice and discriminatory sentiments to people with intellectual disabilities. The stationery needed to represent the facility’s aim to change such trend in the society with its design, portraying the friendliness to facilitate the people with intellectual disabilities to get along with the local society. The logo used 10 circles with different colors and sizes to depict that people with intellectual disabilities have unique talents. Likewise, the stationery is designed to give bright impression so that the value of this facility would be correctly communicated to the society or the local community.
The friendly design successfully led the local community and the society understand the social significance of the facility. The environment became much easier and friendlier for people with intellectual disabilities to live with no prejudice.
