Eaton is a global technology leader in power management solutions that make electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical power operate more efficiently, reliably, safely, and sustainably. For the past 21 years Eaton has commissioned visual communications firm, Nesnadny + Schwartz (N+S), to create its Annual Report. The firm’s role has been to develop the conceptual and visual theme, create the overall design, and manage production from inception to delivery.
Power and energy are increasingly valuable commodities, and Eaton is driving its customers to do more with less: a smarter use of energy; more strength and greater control; and reduced fuel consumption and emissions. To express this direction of “Power Forward,” N+S used active, directional-looking product-driven, and product application-driven photo montages to give the Report a sense of movement and forward momentum.
The 2015 Eaton Annual Report is the principal document used by the company to communicate financial information, business goals, and year-end achievements with shareholders, employees, directors, potential investors, and analysts, as well as various local, state, and national governmental agencies. To date the Annual Report has received positive and commendatory feedback from Eaton employees, shareholders, and customers, and has been successfully used as a recruitment and public relations tool.
