Investigating physical aspects involved in graphic design through physical materials.
Approach
The letter’s reflection-shape is very flexible; it depends on the angle of the reflecting mirror. With a different perspective, the reflection-shape made different structures in the space. I created the poster that looks kind of like a sculpture of letters, showing a reflection well. When the reflecting mirror bends, the letterform changes in interesting ways.
Results
From the distorting letters, I created the digital version poster involving the movement of letters in the mirror of previous experimental tests. The final result is combined physical material, mirror, and digital elements, printing.
